IPL skin treatment

IPL Treatment

IPL treatment uses broad-spectrum light to improve skin tone, reduce redness, and target sun damage and pigmentation.

What Is IPL Treatment?

IPL treatment uses intense pulsed light to improve skin tone and reduce pigmentation and redness. It is commonly used to treat sun damage, age spots, and vascular lesions. The treatment targets discoloration while supporting collagen production for a clearer, more even complexion. IPL is non invasive and typically requires little to no downtime.

What IPL Can Improve

IPL can improve sun damage, age spots, uneven pigmentation, and redness from visible small vessels. It can also support smoother texture and a brighter look by encouraging collagen production over time.

Treatment plans are customized to your skin type and the concerns being addressed.

What to Expect

During IPL, light pulses are applied to the treatment area. The energy targets melanin in pigmented spots and hemoglobin in vessels, helping the body gradually clear what was treated.

Most patients tolerate IPL well. Mild redness similar to a sunburn may appear afterward and usually resolves within hours to a day, and most patients return to normal activities immediately.

Aftercare, Results, and Ideal Candidates

You will receive aftercare instructions, including sun avoidance and skin care guidance to protect treated skin and support best results.

Some pigment may darken temporarily before it fades, and improvement typically develops over time as the skin clears and collagen response builds.

Multiple sessions may be recommended depending on the concern being treated and the level of correction desired.

Ideal candidates want improvement in pigment, sun damage, redness, or other tone concerns and are in good overall health with realistic expectations.
